configuring Apache Tomcat as a server in netbeans

Follow the steps below to configure apache tomcat as a server in netbeans

1) In netbeans IDE click click the tools drop down menu and select servers.

2) In the new window that opened select "add server", and from the list of servers provided select "Apache Tomcat"

3) Then in the "Installation and Login details" window set the location of the server, and enter a username and a password.

4) Now the new server is added to the net beans IDE. Click "finish" to finish the server configuration process.

To start tomcat go to Services > Servers > and right click on "apache tomcat" and click start.
